to showcase legendary luxury timepieces from world-renowned collectors;

Gaysorn Village, a landmark for watch lovers in the heart of Bangkok brings together world-class watch brands in one location to foster a Like-minded community for luxury watch enthusiasts. Ready to reinforce its status as a leading luxury watch destination in Thailand together with Christie’s Thailand, organizing “Unique and Legendary Watches” showcasing 10 luxury timepieces from the legendary collection of world-renowned collectors. The 10 timepieces on the show are from 5 renowned brands including Richard Mille, Rolex, Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, and A. Lange & Söhne. The highlight is the RICHARD MILLE PROTOTYPE RM050 ‘JEAN TODT 50TH ANNIVERSARY’, a timepiece created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Jean Todd entry into the professional motorsport industry and RICHARD MILLE PROTOTYPE RM036 NO.1, the first watch by Richard Mille in collaboration with Jean Todt, will be auctioned in Geneva, Switzerland on November 6, 2022.

Celebrities who are avid watch collectors attended the event, including Thanong and Chompunuj Leeissaranukul, Voravud and Nantamalee Bhirombhakdi, Chinapol and Terarat Jongprasert, Varit Yoovidhya, M.L. The 10 watches include: VACHERON CONSTANTIN PLATINUM TOLEDO 1952 is the rare platinum triple calendar and display moon phase. The ‘Toledo 1952’ is a re-edition of ‘Cioccolatone’ model, originally launched in the early 1950s. This watch was produced in a limited edition of 100 examples of which this is No. 57.

ROLEX ‘TRIPLE SIX’ COMEX SEA-DWELLER 16660, reference 16660, also known as the ‘Triple Six’, was introduced in 1978 and made until 1988. With a very rare stainless steel automatic wristwatch with sweep center seconds, date, gas escape valve makes it able to increased depth rating of 1220 meters featuring COMEX (Compagnie Maritime d’Expertises), pioneers in professional diving in the commercial field, requiring tool watches designed for conducting safe diving operations at greater depts. The caliber 3035 movement also comes with the function of Quickset function that makes it possible to adjust the date setting by just turning the crown.

ROLEX DAYTONA ‘CHAMPAGNE PAUL NEWMAN DIAL’ REF. 6241, an exceptional and extremely rare, the reference 6241 was produced for around only 3 years between 1966 and 1969 and is therefore a rare reference in its own right. Available in stainless steel, 300 pieces in 18K gold and 450 pieces in 14K gold.

RICHARD MILLE PROTOTYPE RM050 ‘JEAN TODT 50TH ANNIVERSARY’, an exceptional and unique prototype blue tpt quarts in well-designed skeleton dial. This superb split seconds chronograph tourbillon is the ultra-exclusive prototype no. 03 made for the development of the extremely limited series of only 5 pieces to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Jean Todt’s entry into professional motorsports in 2017. The RM050 is extremely lightweight, equipped with a 30-minute totalizer

RICHARD MILLE PROTOTYPE RM036 NO.1, one of the rarest and most intriguing of Richard Mille’s wristwatches that created together with the owner of the watch. Made of titanium with skeleton dial that allows to see the beautiful movement of the internal mechanism. This limited edition is a hand-wound tourbillion timepiece with a unique patented built-in G-Sensor to measure the force forum velocity where the upper half of the dial indicates whether the deceleration is saft (green zone) or critical (red zone) for the driver. Limited edition of 15 examples.

 

RICHARD MILLE UNIQUE RM004 V2 MADE FOR THE FIA, a unique 18K pink fold split seconds chronograph wristwatch developed in collaboration with the Brazilian Formula One racing driver Felipe Massa, one of the fist sporting figures to have joined the Richard Mille family. The RM004 uses highly advanced materials in order to attain optimal timekeeping performances and uses a mechanism virtually eliminates the initial jump of the chronograph hand, resulting in extreme timing accuracy.

LANGE & SOHNE GRAND LANGE 1 LUNA MUNDI NO. 75/101, the two rare and highly attractive 18K pink gold and 18K white gold limited edition wristwatch with date, display the moon phases for the Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere. Manufactured in 2003 and 2004, the present timepiece is numbered 75 of a limited edition of 101 pieces.

PATEK PHILIPPE PERPETUAL CALENDAR CHRONOGRAPH 3970E, a rare and attractive 18K gold perpetual calendar chronograph wristwatch with moon phases. This must-have for collector wristwatch is made in the year of 1951-1985 equipped with the new Lemania based ebauche which replaces the Valijoux movement used for the previous 50 years.

VACHERON CONSTANTIN UNIQUE ‘FERRARI ENZO’ MERCATOR, an unique special request platinum automatic wristwatch with hand-made cloisonné and painted enamel ‘Ferrari Enzo’ dial made by Vacheron’s world renowned ‘Metiers D’Art’ department was a special commission by the present owner to celebrate his 10-year anniversary at Ferrari. The Ferrari shown on the dial was his own car at the time. Not only is the dial unique but also the movement has been uniquely fitted with a special 21K gold. The traditional method of showing hours and minutes was abandoned and instead the time is shown via a double retrograde mechanism with hands in the form of a pair of cartographer’s dividers. When the hour hand reaches 12 and the minute hand reaches 60, the respective hand ‘flies’ back to its starting position.
