[#CGUPDATE] 📌กลุ่มเซ็นทรัล และซิกน่า ลงนามสัญญาเข้าซื้อกิจการกลุ่มเซลฟริดเจส ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วยห้างสรรพสินค้าในประเทศอังกฤษ เนเธอร์แลนด์ และไอร์แลนด์ รวม 18 แห่ง อสังหาริมทรัพย์ 7 แห่ง และดิจิทัลแพลตฟอร์มทั้งหมด
อาทิ ห้างสรรพสินค้า เซลฟริดเจส (Selfridges) บนถนนออกซ์ฟอร์ด ในกรุงลอนดอน, แมนเชสเตอร์ และเบอร์มิ่งแฮม ประเทศอังกฤษ, ห้างสรรพสินค้าดี แบนคอร์ฟ (de Bijenkorf) ประเทศ เนเธอร์แลนด์, ห้างสรรพสินค้า บราวน์ โทมัส (Brown Thomas) และ อาร์นอตส์ (Arnotts) ประเทศไอร์แลนด์ โดยการร่วมทุนครั้งนี้เป็นการลงทุนทั้งในธุรกิจห้างสรรพสินค้า อสังหาริมทรัพย์ และกิจการด้านแพลตฟอร์มอีคอมเมิร์ซทั้งหมดอีกด้วย

◾️ หลังจากการรวมธุรกิจใหม่นี้ จะทำให้กลุ่มบริษัทมียอดขายรวมทั้งหมด 5 พันล้านยูโร ในปี 2019 และ คาดว่าจะเติบโตถึง 7 พันล้านยูโรในปี 2024 จาก 8 ประเทศ และ 35 เมืองสำคัญในยุโรป

◾️ การผนึกกำลังครั้งนี้ จะก่อให้เกิดการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ นวัตกรรม และส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ของแบรนด์ชั้นนำในทุกโลเคชั่นทั่วโลกให้ดียิ่งขึ้น ซึ่งนำไปสู่การพัฒนาเพื่อมุ่งหน้าสู่การเป็นผู้นำห้างสรรพสินค้าลักชัวรี่ออมนิแชแนลเต็มรูปแบบระดับโลก

📌Central Group, a family-owned retail, real estate and hospitality group and Signa, one of Europe’s leading real estate and retail groups, have entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Selfridges Group, a leading luxury retail group, from the Weston family. The Selfridges Group portfolio comprises 18 iconic and leading department stores, including Selfridges in London, Manchester and Birmingham, de Bijenkorf in Netherlands, Brown Thomas and Arnotts in Ireland, their associated e-commerce platforms and the properties in London, Manchester and five locations in Ireland.

◾️ The annual turnover for Selfridges Group combined with Central Group and Signa’s existing portfolio in Europe would be EUR 5 billion in 2019 and is projected to grow to more than EUR 7 billion by 2024

◾️ The combination will create a complementary portfolio of leading European luxury department stores, which will enable innovation know-how and knowledge-sharing to be shared across different locations.
